Where is the Magic? Print E-mail

brain-retail-doctor.jpgDo you focus on delivering retail “magic” within your business on a consistent and daily basis? That is a magical quality to everything you do and of most importance in providing your customer with a “magic” experience.

We often talk to our clients about their business “personality” ranging from the brand positioning through the product personality through to people personality and their successful interaction with their customer personality.  One of our  fashion retail clients, in particular, have “retail magic” on their weekly meeting agenda and team members are asked to contribute ideas and experiences that all build to this delivery of retail magic to the customer.

 That creates this retail “magic” that attracts more and more business.

 Where is the uniqueness, the magic and "in store freshness" in look, windows, and product stories and people personality within your business?  We know and our customer satisfaction surveys tell us that magic retail is a combination of the wow and the efficiencies underpinning the in store experience.

 Including:

-       It’s essential that your store retains a "fresh, innovative and new" feel, with subtle yet constant change.  Flexible merchandising systems and getting the basics in shape allows you to execute time and time again with minimum fuss for maximum effect;

-       Look and learn from other retailers (not even in your category) for the things they do that communicate "magic" & new and innovative’ to their customers;

-       Give them a surprise experience (something new) underpinned with great service, systems and relationship;

-       Connect with customers and learn about them from the "moment of truth” through to great websites and customer relationship marketing;

Take a look at the successful retail growth stories today and you can be pretty sure that high on their agenda is the creation of "retail magic" in all aspects of their retail experience from the supply chain through to the in store experience.
