Our mission for the Retail Doctor is that it will be the centre for all retail services, products and expertise by building business fitness and creating exceptional customer value. Our business grows daily with this goal demonstrated in all we do and every decision made.

To support our goals we also align ourselves to industry professional associations such as the Australian Centre for Retail Studies, National Retailers Association and the Franchise Council of Australia as we fully support their drive for high standards of industry, professionalism and practice.

Our Structure

  • Brian Walker - Managing Director. Brian has had many years experience in franchising, shopping centres and specialty retailing in both senior line management roles as well as consulting to the industry;
  • Supporting Brian is a team of experienced and skillful practitioners who all contribute to deliver exceptional customer value;
  • A diverse, senior and experienced board currently assembling with details to follow.

Our Approach and Business Model

  • Our approach is always to understand the client's business intimately, through the diagnosis stage, and to measure the level of gap between strategic intent and operational delivery;
  • This includes current strategy review, significant in store field work and reporting back the "gap" between strategic intent and operational delivery. This gap is defined by us as the business fitness;
  • We have developed a series of operational modules that recommend the steps to close the gap (recommendation report);
  • We close the gap and build a fitter business (implementation);
  • We monitor and ensure that the results are on track (health checks).
